Silver Wave Gallery is an independent gallery featuring work from Margarida Correia and Coleman Rogers.
Margarida was born in rural Portugal and raised in Germany. Since the age of five, she has had the great privilege of traveling the world. Her inspiration comes from what she sees around her – from the city streets of Lowell to the snow-covered peaks of the Himalayas. The seemingly ordinary or insignificant, the simple or mundane – it all can hold the seed of creativity if we just keep our eyes wide open. Inspiration subscribes to no limits. To Margarida, the ability to follow her inspirations and express herself creatively through her artwork is vital to feeling purposeful.
She prefers to work with silver and aluminum, but also uses paper, fabric, wood, leather, steel and other recycled mediums in her creations.
Coleman Rogers grew up in a darkroom around Detroit. He spent many years in music recording studios, but music event and B&W film photography have always been his passion. He’s an award winning Copley Artist at the Copley Society of Art in Boston, and was a nominee for Live Music Photographer of the Year in the 2016 and 2018 Boston Music Awards.
